The Grail is Reed College’s fortnightly student-run creative magazine, publishing a diverse array of content and genres and striving to be a home for student voices at Reed. This includes articles about the history of Reed, personal essays, cultural curiosities, opinions, fashion, media reviews, fiction, and reporting about the world beyond campus. We believe in improving our skills as writers, reporters and artists by creating thoughtful pieces and engaging with the community.

Interested in contributing to The Grail? Idea for an article you want to write, a topic to suggest to others, a must-have entertainment section? Itching to help out with photography, issue formatting, or illustration?

Fill out our interest form to get involved, and send submissions our way here! For other inquiries, we can be reached at thegrail@reed.edu.

The Grail is currently helmed by Reed student Caroline Paden ’25.
